MORE ABOUT ME

I like video games - A LOT!
And after decades of playing them, I've started to make them too.

My passion started young. I grew up playing on all kinds of platforms, from Amigas and PCs to Gameboys, SEGAs and PlayStations.

Before 'pro gamers' were a thing, I attempted to convince my parents that I needed to move to Korea. I'd been competing in Starcraft tournaments on Korean servers.
Unfortunately, my parents said no, but my passion for gaming remains. Instead I turned to art directing.

After a decade in advertising, I decided to use my skills to make a game for myself and started learning how to code. Although I still have a long way to go, here are some of the (unfinished) little games I've made^
*(Update) I’m currently working on a solo dev project, which I can share more details about if you’re interested.

I also have a small youtube channel where I make gaming videos.

Here are some of the clips from the games I worked on through my journey. (Some are just from the tutorials)

Alongside gaming, I also like to hit things. As a little kid, my dream was to be a drummer. I'd turn everything into a drum, until my parents (and our poor neighbours) convinced me to try something that wasn't so loud. I learnt the classical guitar and later saxophone. Years later, I had the chance to buy an electronic drum kit and I've been back drumming ever since, although I'm still waiting for my stage debut.

I love playing basketball and have played it for many years. Unfortunately, back then I was too short to turn 'pro'. (I'm still too short).

This world doesn’t feel interesting enough to me, so I’m drawn to different kinds of fantasy and sci-fi.
I enjoy comics and anime, have a small X-Men collection, I’m a Gundam and mech fan, and I’m currently building an Ork army for Warhammer 40k.
Oh, and did I mention that I’m currently working on my own game?

I have an amazing wife.

I have a dog called Roscoe!
I also have a turtle called Gicir. He's 23 years old and lives with my parents.
I also love Orcas (I have a tattoo of one on my arm).
